Get ready to lace up for something a little bit special. We’re excited to introduce a brand-new 5-Mile Run that takes runners right through the historic International Garden Festival site. It’s a fresh way to experience a much-loved area of Liverpool, and we can’t wait to share it with you.
The course is packed with variety, from scenic waterfront stretches to leafy paths and wide open spaces that are perfect for settling into your stride (with a few hills for good measure). Expect plenty of great views, interesting corners, and a real sense of discovery as you run through an area that’s full of character and history. Whether you’re pushing the pace or just out to enjoy the miles, this route has something for everyone. This friendly and well-supported race is perfect for those looking to step up from 5k park runs or road races to something a little different, whether you’re aiming for a personal best or just looking to complete the distance in a fun atmosphere. Let’s kick off what we hope will become a favourite fixture on the Liverpool running calendar. 🏃♀️🌳
All Race Wirral events have on-site Toilet facilities at the start/end, Water station on the course and at the finish and include:
